Rich as usual is a great read. I haven't seen Milk yet, but his thoughts on the ignorance of gays about their own culture are worth pondering.

    His review is really on point re: emotional effect vs. being aware of the film's typical biopic flaws. I'm really curious how the movie would have played if Prop 8 had failed, if people would take it more as a nere history lesson without the recent stings of defeat.
